A Peek at the Creative Space of Don Calame

Joining us today is Don Calame, the author of the YA novels Swim the Fly and Beat the Band. Don Calame’s writing has been praised as laugh-out-loud funny and “the sort of book that could tweak many boys to the fun of reading.” (Quill & Quire) Swim the Fly is the story of three 15-year-old boys determined to achieve their summertime goal of seeing an actual naked girl.
