My first letter! This will be mailed out starting October 1, 2026

My forthcoming novel, Back to Wonder, is set in 1985. To celebrate, I decided to lean into my ‘80s nostalgia and start a snail mail club for the 2026-2027 school year. Every month, I’ll mail a letter to the people who are signed up. These letters will be a fun window into my life as a children’s book author and will always include a dash of Wonder. There might be other fun bonuses too, like stickers, puzzles, or other activities. (And in case this is a question you have, there’s no obligation for you to write back. But of course you’re more than welcome to!)

Maybe you are a young reader, or know a young reader, who would like to receive a monthly snail mail letter from me? Or maybe you’re an older reader who would like some happy snail mail! Or maybe you are a teacher or librarian who would like an author pen pal for your class?

To cover my costs, I’m making my snail mail club a perk for my paid subscribers on Substack. $5/month or $50/year. US and international mailing addresses are okay.
